Problem
Certain hardware and software firewalls can prevent the Abacast Client from connecting, giving error message #4 or #7 as the reason.

Solution
  1. If you're in an office network, confirm with your IT administrator that there are no proxy servers or firewalls that might prevent or filter outgoing HTTP access.
  2. If you're using a personal firewall, please refer to your firewall's documentation on granting applications permission to connect to the Internet or review the various articles in the Personal Firewall section of this knowledgebase. If none of the articles apply please submit a ticket to our Technical Support Staff.
