Problem
Will the Abacast Client install spyware on my computer?

Solution
The Abacast install package contains absolutely NO SPYWARE. If you want to see what Abacast does install you can view the Abacast Client installation log and files in the following directory depending on your Operating System:

Windows XP/2000:
1) Press the windows key+R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog
2) Enter in the path to the Abacast Client installation: %userprofile%\local settings\application data\abacast
3) Open InstallLog.txt if it exists

Windows Vista:
1) Press the windows key+R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog
2) Enter in the path to the Abacast Client installation: %localappdata%\Abacast
3) Open InstallLog.txt if it exists

Windows 98:
1) Press the windows key+R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog
2) Enter in the path to the Abacast Client installation: C:\Program Files\Abacast
3) Open InstallLog.txt if it exists

If your Abacast Client is not located in the default directory you may have an old version. Downloading the latest version is highly recommended. The latest version can always be found at http://www.abacast.com/download
